Please don't tear me apart, literati: but what the heck happened re: this year's lame schedule? If one loves Margaret Atwood, then one is totally happy. But if one doesn't... (I am in that group).... this year's schedule appears a tad obscure. Oh ouch! no! don't say that to me!

Had Isabel Allende been scheduled to be interviewed, I would be soaring. Why didn't Eleanor Wachtel get to interview her? I'm going to have to get Justin Cartwright's books....but geez... all I'm going to see is sunday, oct 27th at 2 p.m and maybe the friday nite before it.....

Did management change again? Why so few interviews?

Lame? Why all good things come to those who wait ... and the complete schedule is out there at last. There are about 50 events this year, roughly 20% interviews and 20% round tables.
Eleanor Wachtel requested to interview Justin Cartwright...
That interview is on Saturday 27th at noon. Isabel Allende is reading on October 24 at 8pm.
